Digtet:
I built my walls up high, tried to play it safe,
Kept my heart locked tight, in a quiet place.
But then you came along, with lights in your eyes,
Showed me a world where the brave never hide.
You told me life’s a ride, messy but true,
You gotta take the fall to feel something new.
I watched you smile through the rain and the storm,
And I felt a spark, something unformed.
I held my breath for too long, couldn’t let go,
Fearing the unknown, the highs and the lows.
But you reached for my hand, said, “It’s never too late,
Love’s not a promise, but it’s worth the wait.”
We don’t have forever, no one ever does,
But there’s beauty in moments, in the faith and the trust.
So I’ll hold you close, and I’ll take the chance,
To love with good reason, to live while we dance.
Now every day’s a gift, no more waiting for the day,
We’ll chase the sun together, no matter the way.
With you, I’ve found the courage to let it all in,
To love while I can, and let the living begin.
So love while you can, while you have the time,
